Coloured Raffia 250g – Yellow

A Natural Plant-Fibre Alternative to Synthetic Ribbon

This yellow raffia comes in a 250g hank of long natural fibres, dyed a bright, warm yellow. As a genuine plant fibre rather than plastic ribbon, it gives schools, childcare centres, eco retailers, and community groups a biodegradable way to add colour and texture to presentation and art work. It is supplied in bulk for institutional use, with reliable repeat stock.

Raffia suits school and childcare art and craft programs, retail and market product presentation, hamper assembly, and event and fundraising work where a natural finish matters. Choosing a plant fibre over synthetic ribbon is a simple, reportable step for organisations reducing plastic in their art supplies and packaging.

Yellow is one shade in a wide range. For other colours see the blue, dark green, and purple raffia, or browse the full twine, raffia and swing tags range for the complete colour selection and matching presentation materials.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is raffia made from?

Raffia is a natural plant fibre made from long leaves, here dyed a bright yellow. Being a plant fibre, it is biodegradable and a lower-impact alternative to synthetic ribbon.

What is coloured raffia used for?

It suits school and childcare art programs, retail and market product presentation, hamper assembly, and event and fundraising work where a natural coloured finish is wanted.

How much raffia is in a hank?

Each hank is 250g of long natural fibres. Bulk quantities are available for schools, retailers, and community groups ordering for ongoing use.

Will the colour be exactly the same every time?

As a natural dyed fibre, occasional colour variance between hanks can occur, and the colour may fade in strong light. This is normal for a genuine plant-based product.

What other colours are available?

Yellow is available alongside a wide range including blue, dark green, purple, black, burgundy, orange, and more. All are the same natural biodegradable raffia.
