Natural Raffia – 1kg (approx) hank. Long undyed fibres created from leaves from Madagascar and/or Africa. Creates texture in your art project or gift wrapping. Great with brown wrapping paper.
Note that the Raffia hanks are hand-bundled and judged by eye and length. The weight of individual hanks can vary, and the average of the hanks is around 1kg. Individual hanks can be under or over this average weight. In terms of the length of the individual strands of Raffia, we estimate that it’s around 1100mm (1.1 meters), with strands varying between about a meter up to 1.4m.
